Data policy

This page explains what CreatorConnect stores about agencies and creators, what we use that information for, and the operational rights we need to run the platform.

Updated April 3, 2026

1. What we store

  • Agency account data such as agency name, owner or contact name, owner login email, invited team-member names and emails, password hashes, invite records, and password-reset records.
  • Creator profile data such as display name, email for sign-in links, platform handles, niche, notes, rate fields, and agency categorization.
  • Campaign workspace data such as briefs, track titles, uploaded track files, assignments, message history, submission links, raw uploads, approval history, views, likes, scores, and timestamps tied to campaign activity.
  • Operational access data such as invite tokens, hashed sign-in tokens, invite-open timestamps, join timestamps, and other records needed to authenticate users and run the workspace.

2. How we use that data

  • To create and maintain agency and creator accounts.
  • To send invite links, password resets, and creator sign-in links.
  • To display the right campaign, inbox, roster, and submission data to the right people inside each workspace.
  • To host campaign assets and creator uploads, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and keep the platform secure.
  • To enforce our terms, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations.

3. What rights CreatorConnect needs

By using CreatorConnect, you authorize us to store, organize, copy, format, transmit, display, and back up the data and files you submit to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the service.

That includes the right to make campaign and creator data visible inside the relevant agency and creator accounts, use service providers for hosting, storage, email delivery, security, and infrastructure, and retain records needed for support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and compliance.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified service data to understand product usage, improve the platform, and plan operations, so long as that use does not publicly reveal private creator or agency information.

4. How data is shared

  • Within the workspace, data is shared with the agency and creators who need it to run the campaign relationship.
  • Outside the workspace, data may be processed by vendors that help us host the app, store files, deliver email, and secure the platform.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business.

5. Retention and user choices

  • We keep account and workspace data for as long as the account is active and for as long as we reasonably need it for operational, backup, security, dispute, or legal reasons.
  • Agencies and creators can update much of their account information from their settings areas inside the product.
  • If applicable law gives you rights to request access, correction, deletion, or export of certain information, contact us and we will review the request in good faith subject to security, contractual, and legal retention requirements.

6. Security and policy updates

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for the kind of data the service holds, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

If we materially change this policy, we will update this page and may require renewed acceptance where appropriate.
