1. About this policy

This policy explains how CreatorConnect collects, uses and shares personal information when you use creatorconnect.to, our creator and client dashboards, and our Discord community.

CreatorConnect is operated by Creator Connect Marketplace Ltd:

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Creator Connect Marketplace Ltd. We are the data controller.

2. Who this applies to

This policy applies to:

• creators who join our campaigns;
• artists, labels and managers who run campaigns with us;
• people who contact us;
• visitors to our website;
• members of our Discord server.

It also covers public information we process about people who are not our users. Examples are public posts that use a song from one of our campaigns, and artists we may contact about our services.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us:

• account details, such as your name, email address and password;
• profile and campaign information;
• the posts you submit;
• messages and support requests;
• payout details;
• for clients: contact, organisation and billing details;
• messages you post in our Discord server, when you join or leave it, and who invited you.

Payout details. Depending on how you're paid, these can include:

• your PayPal email;
• your legal name, date of birth and address;
• your bank details;
• optionally, your tax reference.

Information from connected accounts. When you connect or verify a TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Discord account, we receive information from that platform. See section 5.

Public information. We collect publicly available information about posts submitted to our campaigns, and about other public posts that use a campaign's song. This includes view, like, comment, share and save counts. We collect it by automated means and through third-party data providers. We also use publicly available information to find artists who might be interested in our services.

Information collected automatically. When you use our site we collect basic technical information, such as:

• your IP address;
• your browser details;
• the page or campaign link that brought you to us, recorded when you send us a form or open a link we sent you;
• when you last signed in.

We use only cookies that are necessary to run the site (section 9).

Information from partners. We receive:

• payment and payout confirmations from our payment providers;
• where you joined through one, information from a manager partner.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• run your account and the campaigns you take part in;
• verify that the social accounts you add belong to you;
• measure the performance of campaign posts;
• calculate earnings and send payouts;
• show clients the results of their campaigns;
• check submissions for fraud, fake engagement and breaches of our terms, and protect clients' budgets;
• show public campaign leaderboards and examples of our work;
• answer enquiries and provide support, sometimes with the help of AI tools;
• run and moderate our Discord community;
• keep the service secure;
• meet our accounting, tax and other legal obligations;
• contact artists and businesses who may be interested in our services.

Automated decisions. Some campaign rules are applied automatically, and they can affect what a post earns. Examples:

• minimum engagement and view levels;
• earnings caps;
• campaign budgets and measurement periods;
• detection of unusual activity;
• posts that are no longer available.

Approvals, rejections and payouts are confirmed by our team. If an automatic decision affects you, you can ask us to explain it and to have a person review it.

5. Connected platforms

TikTok. If you choose Connect with TikTok, TikTok asks you to approve the permissions we request:

• basic info;
• additional profile info;
• engagement stats;
• public videos.

With these we receive:

• Basic info: the account identifiers TikTok creates for us, your display name and your profile picture.
• Additional profile info: your username, bio, profile link and verified status.
• Engagement stats: your follower, following, like and video counts.
• Public videos: for your recent public videos and your campaign posts, their titles, descriptions, dates, duration, dimensions, links, cover images, AI-generated label, and view, like, comment and share counts.

What we do with it:

• Use: we use this information to verify your account, check your campaign posts and prevent fraud.
• How long we hold access: we read it when you connect, and we don't keep access to your TikTok account afterwards.
• Who sees it:
  • your username and profile link may appear in your campaign results (section 6);
  • a partly hidden version of your username appears on public leaderboards;
  • your profile picture appears on public campaign pages unless you turn that off in your settings.

  The rest is visible only to you and our team.

• What we never do: we never receive your password, private videos or messages, and we never post or change anything on your account.
• Disconnecting: you can disconnect TikTok in your settings at any time. This deletes the profile information we received. Details recorded for your campaign posts stay with the campaign.
• Removing access in TikTok: you can also remove CreatorConnect in TikTok's app settings.
• TikTok itself: we're not affiliated with TikTok, and TikTok's own Privacy Policy applies to TikTok.

Instagram and YouTube.

• What we receive: if you connect these accounts, we receive basic account information, such as your account ID, username or channel name, and profile picture. We don't receive your password or your Google email address.
• YouTube channel details: we delete your channel name, handle and picture within 30 days of connecting, and keep only your channel ID to identify the linked account. Connecting again refreshes them.
• YouTube's terms: YouTube data is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Revoking YouTube access: you can revoke our access in your Google Account security settings.

Discord. If you link Discord, we receive your Discord ID, username and avatar.

Bio-code verification. If you verify an account with a bio code instead, we read your public profile to confirm the code.

6. How we share information

With clients. Clients see a report for their campaign. It includes:

• each participating creator's name, handle and profile link;
• the posts and their statistics, including whether a post was rejected;
• where enabled, each post's review status and earnings.

Clients don't see your email address or payout details.

Publicly.

• Leaderboards: public campaign pages show a partly hidden handle and earnings for top creators.
• Profile picture: shown unless you turn it off in your settings.
• Featured work: we may feature campaign posts, and creator earnings with a partly hidden handle, on our website and in our Discord community.

With manager partners. If you joined through a manager partner, they can see your name, handle, status and payout totals.

With service providers. We use providers for:

• hosting and backups;
• email;
• payments and payouts;
• community and team messaging;
• AI tools;
• social data.

They receive only what they need to provide their service. Payout providers receive the details needed to send your payment.

For legal reasons and business changes. We share information:

• with professional advisers;
• with authorities, where the law requires it;
• with a buyer or investor, if our business is reorganised or sold.

We don't sell personal information.

7. Legal bases

We rely on:

• Contract: to provide the service you signed up for. This covers your account, campaigns, tracking, earnings, payouts and client reporting.
• Legitimate interests:
  • fraud prevention;
  • security;
  • campaign reporting;
  • public leaderboards and featured work;
  • measuring campaign reach;
  • support;
  • community moderation;
  • business development.
• Legal obligation: accounting and tax records.

If you don't provide payout details, we can't pay you.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

• Account information: kept while your account is open. When you close it, we delete your account, contact, profile and connected-account details. Your submitted posts and their statistics stay part of the campaign's records, and payout records are kept as described below.
• Connected-account profile information: kept until you disconnect the account or close your CreatorConnect account.
• Campaign records and post statistics: kept as part of the campaign's records.
• Payout and accounting records: kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to.
• Sensitive payout details (date of birth, address and bank details): deleted after you close your account, once no payout is pending.
• IP addresses from forms and link opens: deleted after 12 months.
• Discord messages: their content is deleted from our records when you delete them on Discord.
• Backups: kept for up to about six months, then overwritten.

9. Cookies

We use only cookies and browser storage needed for the service you ask for:

• keeping you signed in securely;
• protecting the account-connection steps;
• crediting manager partners;
• remembering unfinished forms.

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Some pages show content from other services, such as embedded videos, music players and fonts. Those services may receive your IP address.

10. Security

Here is how we protect personal information:

• Encryption: data is encrypted in transit, bank details and tax references are encrypted at rest, and backups are encrypted.
• Access: limited to people who need it.

No service can guarantee complete security.

11. International transfers

Our servers are in Germany, and our backups are stored in the EU. Some service providers are located outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on one of these:

• UK adequacy regulations;
• the standard data protection clauses in the provider's terms;
• for public information, the transfer being necessary to provide the service;
• for internal alerts to our team, the transfer being necessary for our legitimate interests in operating the service.

12. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your personal information;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• restrict how we use it;
• receive it in a portable format;
• challenge an automated decision.

How to make a request:

• We'll reply within one month.
• We may need to confirm your identity.

Complaints.

• To us: if you're unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days.
• To the ICO: you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

13. Age

CreatorConnect is only for people aged 18 and over.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects what we collect or who can see it, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
